"Supreme Race." "Supreme Class." & "Supreme Power."

Life in India, the land of endless possibilities, has always been ruled by these three sections. Whether the man or woman I am talking about is a local rikshaw walla or whether it be the power seeking politician.

Everything should be supreme. Even if one does not have enough money to buy rice, one should buy the latest designer clothing. Greed is the supreme factor governing this power hungry nation.

Some of you might contradict my statements by saying that India is not such a country. India has its set of ideologies and culture (more importantly). But to them I would like to ask, which culture are you talking about. The culture with which we slaughter the opposite caste. The culture with which we do drugs and say it as spiritual enlightenment. The culture with which after passing any given board examination ones mind is attempting for migration just like the migrating birds.

Is this the great culture we are talking about where women sell their downtrodden, rotting, bodies for just 2 Rs for giving one handful (if they are lucky) to their children while having an empty stomach themsleves????????.

We complain of politicians but who made them this way. Was the history too brutal enough to demoralize the values we had or was it us holding the Pandora's box itself waiting for the right time to open. We boast of the great Rishis of India. We boast of The Buddha. We boast of Gandhi, but do we deserve this. How can we deserve this.

I now understand the saying

"The power always corrupts and absolute power corrupts absolutely."
