It was the second form at st.clares and the girls were very excited .The two new girls were Mirabel and Gladys. Mirabel was a nuisance at school. She tried to spoil everything. She misbehaved with her classmates and disobeyed her teachers but then one day Gladys heard Mirabel playing a violin and even a piano. She was amazed to see that Mirabel could play such good music. When gladys went to talk with her, they both shared their feelings .Gladys told her that her mother was extremely ill and was admitted in the hospital. Mirabel told her that she was sent to the boarding school because her parents were tired of her bad behaviour and she told that she is not going to stay any longer than the half term. Gladys asked Mirabel to be her friend. From that day onwards they both became very good friends.
After a few days it was declared that a concert was going to be held . Everyone was doing something or the other. Mirabel was going to play violin and piano, Gladys was going to act as the different characters of shakespeare, carlotta was going to do the circus tricks and so on. The concert was a big hit. Then came the half term, Mirabel was tired of being imprudent so she decided to turn over a new leaf and not leave the school.
The two new head girls were Anna and Elsie. Anna was loved and respected by everyone & since Elsie was behaving quite spiteful the girls did not accept her as their head girl. At the end of the term Gladys received a letter that her mother was now perfectly fine . The girls heard the news and were very happy. Now like this one more form came to a happy ending!
