The republic day of joy.it is our national festival.it is a red letter day in our history.our country got independence on august 15,1947. Most of the people enjoy this festival.but we adopted our constitution on january 26, 1950. The day is know as the republic day. We celebrate it with joy every year. We take a vow to serve the motherland .it is celebrate throughout the country . Prabhat pheris are taken out in the morning . People salute the tricolour with the jai hind slogan. The national anthem jana-gana-mana.... is sung.
School collages and government office have special functions they arrange cultural programms .there are some competition too.
The most important function is held in new delhi. The president of india takes salute. The prime minister and other minister attend the function. Thousands of people are gathered . The soldier of army and the school children pass before him.its festival to all of salute my side.
The republic day is the symbol of our freedom. Unit and progress .all the indians are proud of it. Long our republic.
