Amrita or Giloy (tinospora) –


Giloy or amrita is a Tridoshic Herb. This is herb is recommended by Swami Ramdev of Patanjali yog for swine flue. The actual indications of Giloy or amrita or tinospora, whose Sanskrit name ‘Amrit' means ‘Ambrosia'. Giloy is helpful in treating fever, gout, and jaundice, torpidity of the liver, skin diseases, secondary syphilis, rheumatism, constipation, tuberculosis, and leprosy (these are the symptoms of swine flue). It is a powerful blood purifier. It is anti-periodic, antipyretic and anti-inflammatory solution.


It is a herb which is very actively given in case fever, urinary disorders, general debility and urinary diseases etc. One thing more about it is also used in treatment of rhemetish and jaundice. The Tinospora Cordifolia is considered as the drug of choice in clearing the microcirculatory process of human body and other body channels.


It is very effective and unique medicine ability to discharge the exogenous and endogenous toxins. It is frequently comprehensive Ayurvedic formula for all body function and almost useful for all diseases. It is also recommended in case of bird flu and chikengunia.


Benefits of Giloy or amrita


The main benefits of Tinspora Cordfolia or giloy roots are antioxidant which protect in alloxan-induce diabetes. The frequently increase in the body diseases of Thiobarbituric acid reactive compounds in liver and kidney was experimental in diabetic. It is an important constituent of several preparations, used in general debility, dyspepsia fever as aphrodisiac in urinary disorders. Tulasi or holy basil –


Tulasi is extremely effective in preventing the symptoms of swine flu as well as bird flu and is strongly recommended by Baba Ram Dev.


Preliminary research suggests that Tulasi or holy basil has anti-inflammatory, antioxidant, and in the case of Holy basil or tulasi oil, antibacterial abilities. It also helps in reducing the effects of chronic stress, promote wound healing, lower blood sugar levels in type II diabetes, and slow age-related memory impairment and lower cholesterol.


Present research, both in animals and humans, shows the use of Tulasi or tulsi in treating inflammation, digestive disorders, diabetes, headaches, heart diseases and infection. Daily usage of tualsi may help lower cortisol levels which helps lower blood sugar levels and protects the system from stress.

Black pepper or kali marich –


In Ayurvedic medicine black pepper or kali marich has been used to promote digestion, improve the appetite, treat coughs, colds, breathing and heart problems, colic, diabetes, anaemia and piles. Stomach illness such as dyspepsia, flatulence, constipation and diarrhoea are all treated with black pepper, which may be mixed with other substances such as castor oil, cow's urine or ghee.


Black pepper has been equipped in the form of pills as a remedy for cholera and syphilis, sometimes combined with other substances. It has also been used in tooth powder for toothache and an infusion of black pepper has been described as a remedy for sore throat and hoarseness. Alternatively black pepper could be chewed to reduce throat Inflammation. It is also recommended in cases of swine flue and bird flu.
