Currently I am in this beautiful country and would be so for at least next 5-6 months as I am here on a project for a FMCG major. The one of things which attracts your attention when you come down to here is how well managed this country is, wonderfully planned and built houses, malls, great civic sense of citizens that is palpable on every traffic signals, and the way they do their daily work.
People are really disciplined here. There are no road humps to slow down the vehicles but traffic signs are made and people follow them religiously.Police is very honest and bribing them is considered suicidal. (Compare them to our Indian police and you can just smile sarcastically).
There is a very vibrant Indian community living here, which has great influence on the life of Singapore in many ways. Culture wise, profession wise, language wise the Indians have surely made their mark here. Also heartening to see is there discipline and civic sense which stands in sharp contrast with us back home. Indians really have great adaptability.
