A Strange shush seems to have settled the room.Everybody is waiting with baited breath.Its time for unveiling the new Spring Summer Collection. Everybody is wondering what is it all about?Will it carry the usuals or there would be some new offerings. Will it be in the lovely bright spring shades and eye catching blings. Or will it have some earthy tones to it. Will it bring on some new life to the pastel hues or will it carry the shades of black, white and grey. There is a nerve racking silence after a whole lot of queries and anxiety. They wonder will there be any wardrobe malfunctions with this one.The collection has been launched after a couple of months’ hiatus. Fingers are being cracked and all are ready to register the new collection in their minds.
Just an year ago the Creator of this collection was sitting in the row of spectators, looking at the ramp with an awe. He always used to wonder over the craziness associated with the launch of every new collection. And a time came when he started yearning to join the bandwagon. The fever swamped over him too. He did get lucky of sorts and keeping this fact in mind he commenced his journey:
And the laws of nature will find you opportunities… you just need to sense and make use of them……
It was just a trial effort on his part and he was expecting nothing out of it. He was just trying to get the feel of what appeared like a Gloss to him. But something which started as a hobby gave him the recognition he had much sought for. The Creativity which he had kept under tight covers for so long was now out in open. He knew he had a way of giving new touch to the same old stuff. His first success is still very clear in his mind."Gals like Tough Guys not Tough Beard". As much he was practical in his approach, his emotions also found a vent.
Post that he never looked back, every new success just added a new feather to his cap.His confidence was building up and now he knew what suited the needs of the spectator. He was really valuing the way they received him. He needed to understand their tastes and what went well with them. Love, Heartbreak and understanding the Girl Child’s status were the areas he touched.
But with every success there is always a sip of sourness to be borne. Just the mere thought of the malfunction winces him to the utmost.But then he took that also in stride. He understood that every success brings on its negatives too. He had finally Started Living!
With the accomplishment he realized that he owed it to his Mother and His City of Origin.
Thankfully Luck continued smiling on him and he kept on gaining momentum.He had been thinking of daring on a step, an area which had not been touched by any. He needed to make people understand that they have been avoiding the obvious for too long. He paid homage to the kids.
He took pride in the fact that he was able to generate the required response and respect in the eyes of the beholders. His collection was soon becoming a rage and sometimes he used to shy away from the success and take a brief hiatus. But he kept returning to the magic and this time when he returned in September, he was honored by the community. The Best which they could give him. His confidence soared and his collection gained maturity and spontaneity.
With this new Success it was time to give its Due to his Aging Parents. Eventually,something was coming to him naturally ,Sarcasm!And self contradictory Statements.As he approached the year end he decided that it was time to talk about the much hyped and taboo subjects.It took a lot of courage on his part but yet he knew he had to do it. He appreciated the way he was received by all. He still values their response.
When he is just looking back and thinking over the past year and his last collection, he feels he has travelled a long road. The one which he never knew he would take but yet he did. And today he is ready to ravel a complete new collection. He knows that the faces in the arena might have changed, the tastes might have differed from the last time, but he feels that he might know how to touch the right nerve.
