Splendid life at an MNC?

If one of your acquaintances works in high tech and you do not, you probably envy him. "He probably earns a lot of money" is usually the first sentence to say about such a person, and "I did not know he was dealing with computers" is probably one of the sentences that will follow him.

Indeed, the conventional assumption is that high-tech workers earn huge salaries, that their work is relatively convenient and that they are certainly experienced computer people. But this is not necessarily true - and still, today, too, there seems to be a good reason to be jealous of those fortunate enough to work in high-tech:

The salaries

As everyone thinks, the level of salaries in high-tech is statistically significant in comparison to other areas, for a number of reasons: the desire to attract the best workers in their field, to make them want to stay and to reward them from time to time.

This is in addition to the fact that the high-tech sector is one that generates a lot of money, which can lead to an informal approach of non-saving, which can sometimes be interpreted as wasteful management(but what difference does it make?

The luxuries

Most high-tech companies are a fun place to come and work in it. This is especially true of the most famous of them, the Google company, whose offices are known for their design, comfort, color and abundance of elements they contain: slides that make it easier for workers to reach upper places for lower, pool tables and advanced computer games to amuse them while working.

The reason for this is, among other things, the desire to attract new employees and retain existing employees, but mainly because "fun" jobs have been shown to increase the productivity of creative workers and make them want to come to work, not just to work.

The luxuriesHours of work

In many cases, the assumption that high-tech workers are comfortable and flexible is wrong. It's true that high-tech employees usually work from a comfortable, air-conditioned office, but they often have to work at inconvenient hours - whether to stay overtime to finish a project on time or if an urgent technical problem is found on a holiday. However, the above-mentioned salaries usually compensate for this inconvenience.

No need to know to program!

Contrary to popular belief, not every job in high-tech is computer work or programming. There is a very wide range of high-tech jobs that do not necessarily require computer knowledge. The receptionist at the entrance to a high-tech company is considered a high-tech employee, as are the company's lawyers, accountants and even sales representatives, if any.

So even if you do not understand anything about computers, you may still be able to integrate into the high-tech industry either in your profession or close to it, so that you too can tell your friends about the new workplace and see the faces turn green with jealous
