Quote: Accu-Chek Go Strips Purchased on line I purchased a box of 50 Accu-Chek strips on line this week, and received the strips on Wednesday, 23-4-14. When I opened the parcel I found that these strips were expiring in Feb. 14, 2015. I have been a regular user of Accu-Chek for many years, and know that these strips expire 1 year after the Code strip is inserted into the machine. This means that I lose 3 months of use. When I called your Helpline on 1800226020 on Wednesday, Thursday and today I could get through only this afternoon. Even though I spoke to their supervisor, I was told that they could not do anything about it since that was the latest stock they had with them. My request for refund was met with a flat denial. This means that your company is deliberately palming of out-dated stock on-line, which they should not be selling in the market without informing customers that they were usable for only 9 months instead of the usual 12 months. I am shortly going abroad and will use the strips, but will maintain my claim for a full refund after my return, as I have given you notice to take back your unopened carton, and on your refusal, am forced to use them till my return after 6 months. I also reserve my right to publicize my complaint on the net and approach the Mumbai Consumer Court on my return. In the meantime, I will send this complaint by Registered Post also, to make it official. Unquote
