I would like to share my worst experience for being a customer of MOTOROLA. This is nothing to do with the product. But it is everything to do with motorola's service center - REDINGTON(Wellington estate complex, Ethiraj salai, chennai). They are the only authorised service provider for motorola. (Anybody else???)
REDINGTON's customer care is the worst in the whole world. It is even worse than our government institutions. They never pick the phone and answer the calls and even if they do (trust me...you are the luckiest person on the earth if u have been answered by an exective) they give all wrong information even after drilling you for the work order no, given date, model no etc. If they say your product is not ready then don't have second thought, just directly go to them and give your work order receipt your product will waiting for you in ready state. And if they the product is ready then go atleast 2 days later.
This is one company which is not sure whether they will be working the next day (even if you ask them at the end of the business hour - they say they don't know.!!!). And even if you check with them on the same day morning to collect the product and by the time you reach the place, they will happily closed with the security person outside driving away all the customer like beggers (literally), who has come from a long distance.The only answer you will get from him is I am not answerable to any of your questions. The customer executives (are they???!!!) who are sitting inside the office won't even come out and answer the angry, frustrated customers.
In my house,we have 5 motorola mobiles. But after a few incidents like this with REDINGTON, 4 of us has changed to NOKIA. And alsmost all the motorola customers who visit REDINGTON, ETHIRAJ SALAI,CHENNAI will surely agree with me.
