I purchased two POLAR ceiling fans from M/s Amar Distributors,Teliyargang,Allahabad,UP in march 2005 with 7 years guarantee. One of the ceiling fans rendered defective & I approached the shopkeeper along with defective fan,cash memo & 7 years guarantee card for necessary repair.He kept all these things & asked me to come after 2-3 days & when again I contacted him, he told me that a further period of 3-4 days is required by polar co. for repair. Finally,after about 7 days time, he returned the defective fan unrepaired along with guarantee card, retaining the cash memo with him. Now, I was left with no option except to get this fan repaired locally for which I had to pay 280.00
