Pathetic micromax service centers

My wife bought micromax Canvas Elenza2 A121 on 26th August 2014. After 1 month of purchase, phone started automatically rebooting, sometime it showed error of SD card(SD card Unmount) automatically, internal memory showed ‘storage full’ error.


These problems were ok(I could have un7379521 with these) but then a major problem came, phone battery was not charging.


So after this I went to the micromax service center m/s Arihant enterprises, new sanganer road, Jaipur in around Jan/feb 2015.


I told them all the problems, they took the phone for repairing and returned it to me after 15 days .


They told me that they have replaced the charging jack and its fine now.


The phone worked fine for 7 days and then again the same problems occurred i.e. phone was not charging.


I again went to the same service center, this time they told me to purchase a new battery charger.


I bought the charger(though I had the original charger which came with the phone and which also worked fine with other phones).


But inspite of this the battery charging problem was still there.


Then the service center guys told me that this is a motherboard problem and it will be repaired in delhi only.


They told me either they can send it(which will take atleast 30 days) or I can take it to delhi myself.


Since I am a frequent traveler to delhi, I decided to take it myself to the delhi service center.


I took the phone to m/s jabil global services, vatika city point, m g road, Gurgaon which is a micromax authorized service center.


They told me that the guy which had earlier operated on the phone has damaged it.


It was their fault and we will not repair it.


They gave me a slip on which it is written that ‘the board is tempered below charging connection and it is not covered under warranty’ and they refused to repair the phone.


They told me to take it back to the previous service center.


This is pathetic service from your micromax service centers.


They just bounced me from one service center to another.


The worst parth2111 is that the phone is still under warranty.


Why do you guys give 1 year warranty if u don’t want to repair the phone during this free service period.


U can just tell the customers don’t bring your phone for service unless the warranty is Finish938844ed so that we can charge you huge amount for reparing a cheap phone.


This is very disappointing.


My phone is under warranty and it is not my fault if your service center guys have damaged it. It is your fault and you should rectify it.


I request to you to please look into this matter and talk to any of your service center guys whether in Jaipur or delhi.


I want a fully functional phone either a repaired one or a replaced one or else I will try my best to advice my family and friends and their friends to stay away from micromax. I will post about this on each and every social media site whether facebook, twitter etc. and each and every consumer complaint forum.


I am sure this will certainly make atleast a few people to not purchase a micromax phone in future.


So for the last time I request you to please provide me the customer service that I deserve.
