If you are looking at a Satellite navigation unit, please avoid SatGuide. Their products are cheap in price, quality, maps & above all customer service. Product Quality & Customer Service : I've purchased a product (url included : https://satguide.in/product/5.0_navi_with_bluetooth_and_video.aspx ) online and the piece which I received was defective (with a white line across the screen). I've followed up with them for a customer service and the distributor in Bangalore(Koramangala - Rohit/Anand) has promptly disowned stating I need to sent the product back to Hyderabad satguide office. I could not comprehend that logic on why I have to bear the cost of shipping it back to the manufacturer. I called up customer service(twice), who were not even providing me with the return address for satguide in hyderabad. Now even after 7months of owning a defective piece, I did not hear back from Satguide. During sales they would give you various commitments, all of which would be broken the day when you turn back to them for some customer support. The nav unit holder which needs to be stuck to the front glass will duly fall off if I leave the car under sun for 40mins or bump on a speed breaker!! Maps : The maps are equally useless. I travel(drive) across South India quite a lot and found that their maps do not even have a famous 4year old route (National Hwy) between Chennai & Madurai. It could not guide me from Porur to Annanagar (very old and well known route in Chennai). Good that I knew the routes and was just testing the accuracy of maps. Most of the time, it was either showing 'unknown road' or instructing me to go in a different direction!! NEVER BUY THEIR PRODUCT. Satguide company are beguilers, period !!! I am planning to approach the consumer court against them!!
