Just to make aware to people who are transporting thier household goods from Packers and Movers.
I have recently transfered my house hold good from Safe Movers & Packers from Bangalore https://safepackersmovers.com/contact.asp and have faced a horrible experience with them. They have delivered my package after more than 30 days and out of 27 Packet they have delivered only 21 packed and rest they said is stollen. The big mistake I have made is that I have insured for very less amount as they advice me to do that otherwise it will cost me more.
The 6 packet that the Safe Movers people had stolen from me was insured for Rs. 14,500 thought the actual cost of that item could have been arround Rs. 30,000. Now after they delivered the items they were not willing to pay for the lost item even Rs. 14,500 that was insured. And they told my wife to sign and accept the goods and they will pay later. I have ringed her and ask her not to accept till they pay the amount. After lot struggling with them they have paid only Rs. 8000.
So, never opt for Safe Movers and Packers, insured high amount, never accept and sign on any thing if all the items are not delivered or the money is paid for the lost items.
