I took this camera from Croma Showroom and suffered a loss of 10,000/- bucks.
I agree that Olympus is a reputed company, but the output is no way satisfactory.
’Shaking’ is a big problem. (Blurred pics)
Sharpness & brightness are mutually exclusive.
Hardly 1 out of 10 pics come good.
Lot of settings need to be done. Not user - friendly.
Zoom is good but picture quality degrades. Here again ’shaking’ is a problem. (Whats the point in giving a 5 x optical zoom, when the picture shakes while capturing???)
I wonder why was the DIS (Digital Image Stabilization) feature given when it doesnt work in 90% of the settings ????
I am a techno freak. But so many settings need to be done for getting just one good pic that we even forget what the setting was in a particular light condition when we got that pic.
(I think they shud keep an entrance exam for customers purchasing their model).
Just to share, a cell phone camera in N73 gives great pics, which are sharper & brighter than these.
I should have gone for sony. But I dint as I was surprised by its features & a competitive price.
