Not good for making calls

By: Kernel_chennai | Posted Sep 13, 2012 | General | 127 Views

I bought this Samsung HM6000 Bluetooth for my phone since I talk over the phone for long time and would like to have a hands free Bluetooth headset. The device looks good with metallic finish and has a solid feel to it. It comes with either right and left ear hook and also ear buds. It has voice notifications like "device connected", "power on" etc which is good in some way as you don’t have to remember what one red flash is for and what two blue flashes are for. The main idea of a Bluetooth head set is to make calls with a phone. This device boasts two microphones one for the voice and another to record the background noises and actively cancel the background noise. I don’t know how they add all this features and come up with something that does not do the main thing that it is supposed to do. The other party hears your voice very feebly and I have to shout through my throat for them to hear. Then also I have to repeat many of the sentences since they have not heard it. I have no problem hearing them but it seems the microphone and the voice cancellation ultimately does not do its job.
