My son is studying in first and daughter is in third. The projects given are in no way related to what students are studying in school and these projects require parent involvement. I am unable to understand the need for the school to exhibit projects done at home. This is putting unnecessary pressure on the kids and the parents. Children are threatened and treated very rudely by the teacher itself she yells at children for the silliest thing making foot noise or talking to friends while walking. It is becoming a big task for the parents to convince the child to go to school and we have no other choice have to complete this year in the same school. My children are punished very often for no reason - if they do not perform well at their studies.If they do not live up to the acedemic expectatios then a variety of punishments are employed which include knelling in front of the whole class,being humiliated by teachers,being made fun of by teachers,their intelligence being made of fun of by their teachers .They will be subjected to all this irrespective of whether they break any rule or not. It creates in them a great feeling of insecurity.It robs them of living a happy life becasue they constantly compare themselves with those who are better and someone will always be better than you are.Thats inevitable .I have done well in my studies but I dont feel that the price I paid by being there was worth it.
