I looked at this photograph and remembered a poem from my VI class English Reader. Don't remember the name of the poem, nor the poet, and not even the complete verse. But I do remember that there was a mention of a picture that the poet saw in a book on nature. It was of a sparrow with a lizard in its mouth. The poet wrote how he had been shocked to see this in a children's encyclopedia, for the sheer horror printed on the page. On a second glance he realised the beauty of the picture as well. Nature as it is. The prey and the predator in synchrony. I wonder if this photographs would have invoked similar thoughts in the poet's mind. One look, and I had been reminded of that poem (probably - 'The sparrow and the Lizard' - will appreciate if someone can help me with the poem or its link, since I couldn't find anything on the net). I wonder what this pictures tells you. Please share your first impressions and your views on the cycle of life in nature. (interdependence of creatures)
