But it required moving to Pune from Chennai permanently for 3 years. I just posted a SMS to know the best Mobile, Broadband and Dish TV providers in Pune. I also gave my mobile number. Sajit was the first one to contact me and said that he would meet me if I had plan to visit Pune before taking the job. I was in touch with him and when I flew to Pune from Chennai, he met me in my hotel for lunch and gave all details. He just arranged a sort of MS meet at Pune and on phone introduced the famous MSians like Shalu, Tanna and many others. Before leaving for USA I purchased some software DVDs from Ebay and found one of them to be a pirated one (for Rs.8,000/-). When I complained the seller, he requested me not to complain to Ebay and would settle the case outside. Finally he agreed to refund my money, if I return the CD. I also found that he is from Pune..I had all his contact details. I contacted Sajit, and he quickly got the seller and, amidst his multifarious activities, he co-ordinated the matter. Then Sajit made an agreement that he would get the CD from me and would give to him at the Bank when he transfers the amount to my bank account. Sajit on appointment day Sajit waited at the bank for more than 2 hours foregoing his important office matters for the sake of a MS friend!
The seller never showed of, and sent me mail that he would not refund. Sajit also sent me a mail stating..Dear Uncle,It is surprising to note that both Mr. and Mrs. Rajshankha Saha's mobile is out of reach. Seems, they shifted their base from Pune itself,Sajit.Then I took the case with Ebay with all the proof with the help of Sajit. I was bit upset that I could not get my refund before leaving for USA.
But, I got a mail from Ebay, that they will refund my money. The mail sent is given below:
"Dear eBay Member,
Thank you for your cooperation during the investigation of your Buyer
Protection Claim # 1708076.
We are pleased to inform you that this claim has been found in your
interest. A claim payment will be issued via Demand Draft, in the amount
of Rs. 7950 through eBay, Inc.. I wish to inform you that claim
reimbursements happen only via Demand Draft that would be sent across to
your registration address. We would be unable to make any online bank
transfers directly to your account.
Since you are currently in USA request you to confirm if someone back at
your residence can collect this Demand Draft on your behalf. Please
inform to any of your Family member to enchased the Demand Draft in your
Account.
You will be receiving the Demand Draft to the address provided ."We are sorry that you have had a difficult experience and hope that the
Buyer Protection Program has helped to alleviate some of the
disappointment.
