Hi everyone,
I have always been fond of the English language: words and their etymology, the formation of new words, and how some words take on new meanings over time. My English is far from perfect, whether in terms of grammar or vocabulary, but I am always willing to learn and improve, and indeed I have.
At the same time it bothers me when I come across mistakes in newspaper articles or in the Comments section of websites. So I decided to share my limited knowledge of English with others by setting up a blog which primarily aims to point out mistakes in the way English is used in India and also to share my thoughts on the language in general.
As I have mentioned earlier, my English is not perfect and I am no expert. The blog is just my way of sharing my thoughts with everyone and I will greatly appreciate it if you visit it and leave your comments and opinions. Thanks in advance.
