Mumbai's Saatvik food restaurant Sanskriti has broken two world records in the Indian sweet categories by making the world's largest sweetmeats, imarti and jalebi, under the guidance of one of the most famous chefs of the nation, Sanjeev Kapoor.

With help from Kapoor, a team of 12 people headed by Gaurav Chaturvedi made a 37 kg imarti, which had an average diameter of nine feet, in three hours and 48 minutes. Sanskriti broke the Guinness World Record for the largest imarti on 2 May.

The team also made the world's biggest jalebi, weighing 18 kg and with a diameter of nine feet, in three hours and 53 minutes. This year's jalebi broke the record of 3 May, 2014, which was 8.2 feet, and made a new high in Limca Book of Records.
