Lukoskin for Leukoderma or White Patches

By: bangalorebased | Posted Sep 15, 2017 | General | 2433 Views

After trying many medications, I saw this new medicine from DRDO called Lukoskin. I started using this from early 2015 and continued for a year. I used both Lukoskin liquid and cream as prescribed.

As far as dietary prescription was concerned, I followed most of them except for nonveg, but certainly decreased the quantity of nonveg intake. Their product says not to have even chilli and tomotoes which are unavoidable in our regular foods, but never took these things separately.

As far as result is concerned, it was no better than the existing allopathic medicines. It did not even stop the spreading of white patches.

There are some people who have reported improvement with lukoskin and at the same time there are some who have reported spreading of white patches.

People can try for a year with the mentioned diet and decide on continuing or discontinuing. If it works, it should show the results in 6 months(at least a few black/brown dots). If the white patches spreading even with the mentioned diet and medications, please stop it.

I know diet has a role to play, but not the one mentioned in their manual.
