Lifestyle - RMall Ghatkopar - Home Center - the Dining Table Horror

By: PareshBajetha | Posted Aug 31, 2013 | General | 311 Views

This was the second time we are going thru the horror of getting a sub standard , faulty dining from Home center the first time it was timeconsuming and horrifing and then we setteled (myself and Homecenter) to get the faulty dining replaced..But ..The horror story continues…disgusted with the products and the after sales services home center is providing us. After a lot of hardships (followup, escalation, time, money etc) that Homecenter has now provided us with a faulty (broken piece) to us (Sibby 1+6).Believe me this time I want to pull my hair out. When I came home this evening to check the dining the following were the disgust that lay before my eyes 1.The chairs have a lot of scratches and the polish from the edges are just worn off. 2.The dining table has numerous scratches(at the time of booking I had asked Ravi Pandey if the new table will have that many scratches. He had said no . 3.One of the legs had a crack and while shifting it (changing directions) it just developed a huge crack right from the middle. (Photographs attached) and is broken now.I couldn’t believe my eyes …I had just spent 24,475 Rs and it broke on the first day itself. 4.I’m a 100% sure that this table is a used one or is one of the display piece at the store. I’m tired and have become a laughing stock for my family, I only wanted to gift my family a dining and what I got from you is a huge piece of crap. I seriously doubt the materials used for these dining and am a 100% that these are either substandard or (Made in China). To close this matter once and for all and to end this horror story . I’d request homecenter to please refund all my monies. That’s 24475.in total.
