1 Ever for a moment thought what it means to be a Soldier of your Country? Have you ever thought why your Country needs an Army in the first place? Have you ever wondered what do these Soldiers do for you and your Country?
2 If ever an Indian Army soldier has come to you , have you ever thought –‘how can I help this man’?? A man who for more almost ten months in a year stays away from his family , his near and dear ones , a man who often does not see his children grow , a man who like you, has domestic , financial , family, children’s education , aged parents , land litigation, medical and so many other problems which are ignored because this man has chosen to be a guardian of your Nation. Yes , this is the man, an Indian Army soldier , a Jawan who gives so much but asks for so little in return.
3 So what does this man do for his Country ? This man protects the boundaries of your Country so that India remains India. And when he joined the military he gave up some of his Fundamental Rights which all citizens enjoy.He took an oath of allegiance to protect the freedom and integrity of his Country and promised to lay down his life if the Country so demanded. No other person in this Country is required to give such an undertaking!!
