Where as Volvo services for Kolkata to Digha are available only on Fri, Sat and Sun Days ...there are Volvo Services from Friends Travel whcih is available every day .
There are 2 buses daily in Morning 7.30 and 10.30 a.m. The 7.30 am bus normally recahes Digha around 12.30 (However they claim it will reach by 11.30 am but normally it does not happen.).
The fare is Rs. 300/- per head Kolkata to Digha. Advance booking is also available at Esplanade Opposite of SAHID MINAR (Near Esplanade Metro station) at Friends travel counter. It is prefeable to be there at least 1 hour before to book the ticket.
They have alo AC bus services to Digha and the timing are the same , but the fare is 200/- per head.
The normal fare for Kolkata to Digha for CSTC buses nowdays are Rs. 168/- per head. It is WORTHY TO TRY volvo bus service by paying Rs. 122/- more per head to have the journey comfort and relaxtations , they have Video Coach facility also.
Frinds Travels do not have their own volvo but they use the VOLVO from JAIDADA .But you could not find these service direct from JAIDADA...(I never found this at there online booking portal)
