How many times do you feel special?
Well, there's one official day for all of us, and it is that day, that makes us the centre of attention.I love it, always have, and so do all of us. I never prepare speeches, it's always the spontaneity that takes over me, and as tears overwhelm, and happy birthdays are sung, suddenly the anticipation of that wish coming true takes charge, I have never really found out if it worked. And I never bothered to remember. But the entire Kodak moment, now the digicam moment, all captured. Videos taken.Phone calls answered. And to top it all, the gifts recieved. But more important is the fact that someone remembered, I was born. This is what a birthday feels like.
Getting a year older, is what I lamented to everyone who called, but dismissed it with a humour.Well, there are new friends we make, and they all wish us, it's also a time for introspection. Well, not that we don't do it, every day of our life. But yes, this one, does call for some serious one. And it is indeed, a time to make resolutions.Well, I have a few. But just let's hope they turn out alright. :)
It's funny my workplace gives an official chutti for those who want to celebrate it, and funny thing is, I don't seem to have any plans tomorrow. A coupla ppl are gonna drop in, and the works. And everything has to be spontaneous, right?!
A year older. Jeez. I hate getting old. I don't ever want to leave my 20's. And well, it's alright, after all, everything matures, and tastes good, just as good ol wine.
So here's raising a toast to all of you, who have made my moments here on mouthshut memorable and worth spending. Even if i've not been around for the past month. You're a good old set, with genuine good humour.It is really nice to know you :)
