Next morning I send her a Good Morning SMS & was immediately returned with a naughty smiley winking at me and a tongue sticking out and a scroll down revealed…raat ko padi kya???
Called her right away. She did not take the call.
At 3:00 PM, I went for the double strong coffee, fon in one hand like a dude, walked out to the corridor with the cup and the allied paraphernalia.
Redialled and she took the call and said, "Can I call in some time ?”
ME: OK
SHE: Wait for the call
ME: OK
SHE: Will call soon.
ME: OK
SHE: Will You wait?
ME: OK
She called at 3:10. I was at my third coffee by then.
The Pantry attendant was getting serious about ~Yeh Sahab kya kar rahein hain, aate hain aadhi phenkte hain, aadhi le jaate hain, 3 minute phir aate hain and…..~
I told him Makkhhi gir gayi thhi pehle.
To phir doosre mein kya huwa thha, ussme bhi makkhhi gir gayi thhi?
I laffed and said, "Mast reh na bhai…apna kaam karo!"
Sir wohi to karne laga thha, coffee powder khatam hone wala hai, abhi 3 – 4 ghante aur baki hain! Sahab log to raat ke 9-9 baje tak baithhe rehta hain, coffee hi peete hain.
(See I told Ajay the same thing and he put it up in his DP last night(28th nite to be precise) too, meeting sheeting et al!!!!
I asked 9-9 baje tak.
Haan sahab, sab aapki tarah thode hi hain!
I said, " What do you mean?" " Jab humme bhi kaam hota hai to hum log bhi to baithte hain."
He continued, "Sir, par kuchh kaam bhi to hona chahiye na!" and furhter added,"Yeh log to baithte hain, baatein karte rehta hain, kya humme samajh nahi aata?"
I said, "Tujhe kya pta, issi ko kaam karna kehta hain."
He said, " Sir, 2 saal mein main bhi samajh gya hun, jab tak cabin wale sahab baithte hain, yeh log bhi, Cabin wale sahab abhi neeche parking mein bhi nhi pahunchte, aur yeh log bhi gayab!"
I was wondering if he was actually right, maybe he is, wondering kya image hai about the ones drawing 20-25L+ pa in front of this one drawing 72K pa.
Arre have I drifted a bit from the essence of I met a stranger, Well the story needed a respite from tele conversations and so this came in at this juncture. Please padho and comment karo na iss pe bhi, Pleeeeeeez!!!
I am drafting the 7 th episode and will get it in faster, now. And since this was ready, thought might as well post it today, and then tommorow could be the SEVENTH ONE...the final one, maybe!!! No I dont think so there are a couple of things still to be sorted out before the disclosure...so you might put in your comments here and a definite route may be charted for the last few thoughts on the Stranger aspects!!
