One of the best phone that always point out when we talk about android phones and the features of this phones is also amazing. If you want to root one plus 5T and install twrp recovery, then you are going to know the easy and right way to do this successfully by just following the steps, also follow it accurately and execute it better way.
Once you do this process make sure that you have backup everything because everything on yopur phone will be wiped.
- Go to your phone settings fastboot oem unlock
tap enter
Now it will get completed in a second so look at your phone where you have to use volume up and volume down button to select yes or no. Once you are on the yes option, press power button, it will wipe the data on the device and bootloader of your device will be unlocked and the device is going to be reboot into this system.
You don't need to do anythings now because we still need to do lot of things.
-Switch off your device once you boot into this system, hold the volume up button and power button together to boot into the fast boot mode. This is the only requirement that we have to do in a fastboot mode now.
-Again connect the USB to your pc and the rest of commands are here
>fastboot devices
tap enter, then we have to flash the twrp recovery file so far that next command will be
>fastboot flash recovery twrp-cheeseburger-58.img
hit enter, twrp recovery will be flash on your device.
-Press down or up button for recovery mode, once you see hit the power button.
-After this it will ask you for password(optional) and it is the same as your phone's lock password.
Swipe to allow modifications.
-Select wipe from the given option and select format data if you don't want your device to stay encrypted the just format data, it will good to go.If you don't format it or format it, it's totally fine.
-Now copy the magisk file from your pc to internal storage of your one plus 5.
- Once you do that go back in your phone and hit the install option on the screen, scroll down, select magisk file and then select swipe to confirm flash and then magisk file will be flashed.
-Leave it for sometime so that it will update partition details.
NOTE- If you use super SU file in place of magisk file, you won't be able to use pokemon go, some banking applications.
-Once this process is done, select reboot option and then select do not install option then device will boot into the system perfectly fine.
-Now you have to install magisk manager apk file, it will show that magisk version is installed and properly rooted but if it is not showing the check sign on safety net check, so in order to bypass net check go into option, settings, select magisk core online mode and magisk hide option.
-So now you will have to reboot your device, once its gets done, go into magisk application once again and check for safety net and the it will be passed.
-Open root checker application to verify root where it will say " congratulations root access is properly installed".
SO we have successfully unlocked boot loader of one plus 5, flashed twrp recovery nad installed root access.
NOTE- Don't install OT updates if you have twrp recovery intsalled. You will have to flash zip files through twrp recovery .
BUT going through these whole process, you are supposed to do in the same way the whole step is described.
