Gujarati white dhokla made from idli batter is very delicious and enjoyed by everyone.
Let's learn how to make white khatta dhokla
Ingredients
3/4 cup rice flour
1/4 cup urad daal mixture
Water to soak
2 tablespoon curd
Fenugreek seeds 1 teaspoon
1/2 teaspoon baking soda
1 teaspoon hot oil
1 teaspoon hot water
1 teaspoon green chilli ginger paste
Salt to taste
Coriander leaves
Ghee oil for greasing
Method
Soak in enough water rice flour,urad dal,curd.
Sprinkle fenugreek seeds on top and let it ferment for about 10 hours
Batter is ready
Now heat water in a pan
In the batter add salt to taste
Add soda and add 1 teaspoon hot water on it and mix well.
Add green chilli ginger paste in the batter
Add coriander leaves
Now grease a plate with ghee or oil.
Keep in the steamer vessel and pour the batter evenly on the plate
Cover the vessel and let it cook for about 8-10 minutes
Check with a knife if it removes clear
Make pieces with a knife and remove after sometime.
Serve hot with oil and garlic chatni.
