Sometime back I got call form Quickstart Global opening in eCommera(its client I guess) for opening for Sr. Analyst.Programmer.
I am from Ahmedabad and company located in Baroda.
HR Assure me for Reimbursement of all travel expenses.
I have given the interview and told HR that I will send details in email so she can wire-transfer/NEFT amount.
I sent the details with scanned copy of tickets with total amount less than 500INR.
I followed up but no response in email also called some time.
Follow updates but no response.
9/2/12 sent mail
9/4/12 followup mail - no reply
9/11/12 email no -response
9/19/12 called so HR mentioned she can only reimburse bus fair not Auto so Amount around 300INR
Finally got mail reply mentioning that I can collect amount from office when I visit Baroda as amount is so small.

We would be paying only the bus fair i:e
A'bad to Baroda ST Bus Rs.88
Baroda to A'bad Bus Rs. 175
And you can collect the amount whenever you visit Baroda in future because we cannot prepare a cheque for this amount 263. Let me know if you have any query

Baroda is not my regular place to go or I come often and specially collect amount.
As discussed earlier please wire transfer/NEFT to account details give in earlier.
If still the issue can not be resolved from your side, do let me know concern person or HR so I will co-ordinate with them.

Its not about some small money i.e 300Rs, Its about the process they should follow
Thing is HRs only care about before interview and not after that, this leave bad impression on candidate who is willing to give interview .
