I think in any relationship like love, friendship, any formality is important. Its don’t like that other person don’t knows how much you love him/her, but he/she likes it, loves it when you show it.
I can prove this, lets see if it works-
Before the diamond is being showcased, it has to be processed for long time. Many processes comes in between for its finishing, to cutting..etc..
What all this is, yes it is formality only. Now tell me while it , how much you loves it, isn’t that love is true, isn’t that relationship between you and your diamond/friend/lover is pure.
So formality is a kind of love, a respect showed by some one in relation like love, friends, never think that the person is showing off.
