Its 21st Century and women world over have no rights whatsoever, forget equality. This concern brings to the fore that though times have changed, huge leaps have been made in science and technology, leaps have made to make life more comfortable – only for the males. Women still are no class citizens. If this aint the case then what would one say about the reactions we see especially from Males from all sections of the society – when women today are finding courage to come out and talk of harassment sexual or otherwise and Men consistently chipping away at their nascent courage and trying to push them back into dark dungeons of the yore.
Recent cases of Doctor Ford, Padmalakshmi, Tanushree Dutta and the all those women who were part of the #MeToo who finally found the courage to talk about their horrific experiences of abuse at the hands of powerful men and how the male contingent rushed to defend the perpetrators as if these lowlife perpetrators were given the right to abuse and disabuse one of God’s creation by the Divine God himself. Why don’t the majority of the male contingent who want to project they are thoroughbreds(reminds me more of horses than men – smirk smirk) gentlemen to the core. But when the time comes, they are nothing but cowards who do not have the guts to stand up and condemn the male perpetrators of horrific and heinous actions.
It is laughable when the perpetrators are called sweet and innocent and not capable of such a culpable crime. My question, if they are such sweet and innocent and not capable of getting their d* up wonder how they ended up fathering kids…food for thought.
It is high time, Mard ko dard nahi hota, gives way to, Mard hoon, sachai ke liye khada hoon mantra and support the gender which has forever been termed as a weaker gender and people like Harvey Weinstein and the likes all over the world are named, shamed and horsewhipped at townsquares in full public view.
