Handwriting analysis of a person gives the complete picture of a person's thinking and hidden characteristics which he finds it difficult to share with others. It is an interesting art to be learnt and is useful for everyone especially the leaders and the person commanding many men under him.Its basics include the following which I feel that everyone should know

Baseline---It is the alignment of the line in which your handwriting goes when you write on a plain sheet of paper with respect to the edge of the top sheet of the paper on which you are writing

Slant ----It is the inclination of your letters which can be vertical, slanting to the right or to the left

Size of the letters----Small,medium or big

Margins------The space you leave on the sides as well as to the top and bottom of the sheet on which you are writing

Letter----Each letter of english alphabet determines you character and way of thinking

Strokes----How do you take your pen up and down to form letters

Pressure---How much pressure you apply on the pen when you write

Connecting letters------Garland or arcade type of connection

Spacing between letters and words

Each factor enumerated above combinedly will give you a picture as has a particular characteristic associated with it e.g a person applying more pressure while writing has a strong will power ,a person using long bar on the letter t is very protective and so on.

There are many books on the subject but the one I met across first was Handwriting Analysis by Ruth Gardener which is good to have a view of what it is to a novice.

People have introduced many courses at their own level to become a certified analyst and are charging upto Rs 26000/- per year for a course. At present there is no govt certified course for this which I feel should be there
