HI FRIENDS,
Standing on the last day of 2009 as I turn back the clock and look backwards, I see a mixed bag of events.
Few of the events are:
1) Satyam scam was supposed to sound the death knell of software industry. NOTHING OF THAT SORT HAPPENED. SOFT WARE IS STILL THE CASH COW FOR INDIA AND DOING WELL.
2) Varun Gandhi's speeches would create a communal war in the country.
NOTHING OF THAT SORT HAPPENED
3) We thought the pandemic swine flu would lead of mass deaths. NOTHING OF THAT SORT HAPPENED.
4) We thought Barrack Obama would do wonders for the US and the World.
NOTHING OF THAT SORT HAPPENED.
The paradoxes and contradictions teach us THINGS ARE NOT WHAT THEY SEEM TO BE AT THE FIRST PLACE.
So there is HOPE AND GOOD WILL. May each one of you and your family USHER IN THE NEW YEAR WITH THAT HOPE AND MAY THE YEAR BRING IN JOY, PEACE AND CONTENTMENT.
