Govt Institutions are much better than their private money making counterparts. Primarily a professor in a government college is much more educated and moreover he has a liability towards the Institution as well as his job. On the contrary private Institutions will always hire a person who has to be lowly paid. With payment comes the quality. Secondly in private institutions a professor does not know that his job will be there tomorrow or not. So he has no liability in this case.
Actually all Government Sectors are better. But the administration should be more efficient. Just by overloading govt employees and staff shortaging are not the ways to get it done. It is in fact poor management. It creates chaos and degrading quality of the work. Give sufficient employees, distribute workloads efficiently, administer properly and see the magic.
