Good Morning
I arise each morning, to watch the start of a magnificent show
as all around me, with the most magnificent colors, the world is aglow
Sun rise is a magical time when everything seems brand new
like the slowly opening rose petals all covered with dew
Their fragrance filles the air, drifting along on a gentle breeze
as the sky takes on a reddish glow,and dawn comes in with the greatest of ease
I sit and watch as this glorious event unfolds before my eyes
and even though I watch it every day, the sheer beauty of it all still takes me by surprise
This ritual sets the tone for the rest of my day
from sun rise to sun set I know that everything will be ok
