It gives me great pleasure to announce that FENIL’S BOLLYWOOD TALK, the weekly dose of Bollywood on MS, will successfully complete 50 weeks tomorrow! And a month later, it’ll complete one whole year! It’s a bit unbelievable to me since it seems just yesterday when I posted my first Bolly talk. But time flew fast and lo! 11 months have already passed! And I am really glad to see that in these 50 weeks, I’ve not skipped even a single week. Every Thursday, my Bolly talk was posted before 4pm latest. Come exams or holiday or even the recent producers’ v/s multiplex tussle, I succeeded in writing a post on something or the other! Cool isn’t it?!
Now the big question-what will be the golden jubilee Bollywood talk based on? Well…the major part of the talk will be on my most favourite Bollywood actress. I am not going to name her. You guys have to guess who she is based on the following clues:
Her first film was magical. It was released few years back and the performance of this actress as well her film was very widely appreciated. Everyone, from young to old, praised her. She became the role model for many young teenage girls. Middle and old-aged ladies also went ga-ga over her. And those women who were hunting for a bride for their son felt that this actress is the ideal bahu! Her smile, persona and her eyes wooed everyone!
Her second film succeeded in becoming one of the biggest hits of Indian cinema! The film ran in theatres for many weeks. The teachings of that film became the craze of the nation for a long period of time. Although other actors got the maximum appreciation, she also did a wonderful job in this film!
Her third film, again, impressed the audience a lot. Although she got praises for her performance, she had a very little role in the film and the director shortened it even more during the editing process.
The fourth film of her career was badly criticized. Again, she had a small role but she managed to have a strong position in the film even though the film had around 10 actors! And her fifth film too failed to impress most section of audiences.
Her sixth film had one of the superstars as her co-star. Although she had an important part in the film, she was criticized a lot. In fact, she became the laughing stock for that same reason which I can’t disclose due to obvious reasons!
I can watch her seventh movie anytime! It has a powerful story and direction and again it starred a superstar. And this actress gave one of the most powerful performances of her career. Her role had become much popular during the film’s release.
She didn’t have an important role in her 8th film. This movie was powerful but unfortunately failed.
Finally, her last film released last year. The songs of this film were appreciated a lot but she was again boo-ed for the same reason for which she was criticized in her sixth film.
