If you don't fight for your and children's survival, then who will.
A tragic story which tell how we have lost our baby boy before he born due to the negligence of Dr.Prakash Kini's a senior doctor of Cloudnine, Jayanagar, Bangalore. ( earlier name was Cradle)
My name is Shariff and I work as a Manager at Delhi Public School, Bangalore East and reside at Trinity Acres and woods, Sarjapura Road, Bangalore.

My wife who is 32 year old conceived naturally and she was going to consult Dr.Prakash Kini from day one from the day when she conceived.
Eventhough it's far for us we were going to consult him only, we have attended on time when ever he called us, he was calling us for every fifteen days and we have not missed any date and procedures whichever he prescribed.
As usual on 26th Aug 2013 we went to Cloudnine, Jayanagar to consult the doctor and he has sent for a scan to Ms.Surekha who was the radialogist even she is the same radaiologist from day one.
On this day the fetus was 37.4 weeks old ( expected date of delivery was 12th Sept) and the fetus weight was 3.8 kg even though he asked us to come for the delivery on 2nd Sept but we asked for 28th Aug which was Krishna Janmashtami but he refused saying it's too early and slots for the delivery are full and we insisted and took the date 29th Aug for the delivery.
On 29th morning 8:00 am we went to cloudnine for admission for the scheduled delivery and got admitted, we have been sent to a suite by the name Tulip instead of sending us to a deluxe room which we had booked in advance.
They give an offer to book rooms in advance during the 6th month of pregnancy itself, which is also a false many rooms were empty, this they do for marketing to increase the demand of booking. We also booked a room like other during 6th month.
But the don't five anything which they mention in their offer, even their prices are about nominal values.
They started pre-delivery procedures, checking mothers pulse, blood pressure and the fetus heart beat through a doppler.
They have sent me outside the room, Dr.Prakash Kini and some doctors gathered together and discussing each other.
Later they have taken my wife for an emergency scan, their they have declared that there is no fetus heartbeat and told us the baby is dead inside the womb itself.
Even after this Kini was waiting for labour pain to come for removing the baby through normal delivery.
Immediately I called and spoke to a doctor over phone who I know and asked what to do in this situation he guided me to remove the baby immediately by operating otherwise we may have to lose the mother also.
Unfortunately the Cloudnine is having only one operation theatre and already another delivery was going on through cesarean inside the same only operation theatre and they had to wait untill it completes even during this emergency.
Thereafter the hospital staff and doctor took my wife inside OT for emergency CS and I also went inside the OT to witness the surgery.
I found my baby was dead and it was a boy. After this when I asked Dr.Prakash Kini why he has done like this and what is the reason for the unfortunate death of a baby that too on the date of delivery in such a famous and reputed hospital he simply said he was waiting till the completion of 38th week and also said they could not find any reason and walked away without giving any reply.
Unfortunately the 38th week completes on Thursday 29th Aug 2013 but the baby's heartbeat (fetul heart beet) has stopped on 28th August mid-night itself during this time my wife has not noticed baby's movements while she was sleeping.
Dr.Kini without any personal feelings and sympathy he has told us this has happened not due to the doctors negligence but the baby which my has carried for nine months with all feelings has died because of my wife has not noticed the movements during sleep at night.
Infact, he said the if required he will arrange for a biopsy where we can come to know the reason how the baby has dead at the last minute before the delivery but he also said the biopsy lab will not return the baby and they will remove all the organ from the body.
We thought there is no use of knowing the reason of death when and we buried our child at a cemetery at Banashankari, Bangalore, for this he has given a hand written death certificate mentioning Sameera has delivered a dead boy fetus.
An hour after the surgery tthe hospital staff have shifted my wife to a room from operation the theatre, as she has lost her baby and she was crying because we went for the delivery as a normal pregnant women but we got a dead baby. When they have shifted my wife to room my wife was shivering a lot and there was no nursing staff to take care they have left my wife alone, I need to rush to nursing station to ask for the VinodArjunets even though my wife was crying like anything.
We buried our child at a cemetery at Banashankari, Bangalore, for this he has given a hand written death certificate mentioning Sameera has delivered a dead boy fetus.
As this was through cesarean we had to be admitted there in cloudnine Jayanagar ( first floor room number 112) for three days.
Their another money minting idea was, there was no guiltiness with anyone and no feelings rather they have charged a sum of Rs.80,916/- which is equivalent to the charges of others persons who get discharged after the delivery alongwith baby.
They have blindly added baby's care charges also and when I argued with Dr.Prakash Kini and another lady by the name Beena who was incharge for billing then they have given a discount of Rs.3916/- only.
I request all of you who have read this mail which narrates an unfortunate sad story how we have lost of baby due to negligence of a doctor.
If you are going to consult any doctor in this Hi-Fi, Show-Off, well furnished hospital please take a second or even a third opinion from any other doctors who does not belong this type hospital, particularly those who people who are going to consult Dr.Prakash Kini.
In this such type of hospitals you will not get personal care, they don't even talk to you for a minute, please go to the doctors and hospital who listen to you instead of going to the best and famous.
After this unfortunate tragic and un-expected incident we have consulted many doctors and all of them are blaming Dr.Prakash Kini and Cloudnine itself and saying they could have operated on completion of 37th week itself instead of waiting till completion of 38th week. Also the other doctors have opined that a mother can deliver the baby any time after the completion of 34 weeks.
Infact, my wife since day one from the date she conceived was going to Dr.Prakash Kini and as per Dr.Prakash Kini she was not having any problem neither diabetes nor blood pressure and not even thyroid every thing was normal.
Prakash Kini takes all things very casually and he never replies to the questions asked by a patient instead he neglects, but people says he is the senior most and well experienced doctor.
Dr.But he does not disclose/guide and discuss anything with the patients. He might be a experienced doctor but what is the use of his seniority and his experience when he does not tell or explain about anything with the patient. Whenever we ask about anything about any problems he was saying please enjoy your pregnancy. As he said we have enjoyed our pregnancy itself but not the baby.
He has not even told us how to notice the baby's movements and what are the risk factors after 34th week.
Now the other doctors which we know, my relatives and friends all are saying he could have operated anytime after 34th week. But what is the use now. They could have told me one night earlier.
If you require I can mail you soft copies of all our scan reports and all other reports which belongs to Cloudnine itself and also death certificate which rude, careless doctor Prakah Kini has given for for your references.
