Before we could settle down to a proper chit-chat Neena said that she had to leave for some urgent work. It was sad that she had to go so early as she was the life of the party. As she left, we also decided to move to the open-air food court. Naina and Indrani wanted to do some shopping so, they along with Subhashji, Alok and Niraj went to do some shopping promising to join us soon. The rest of us moved to the food court.

It was pleasant and windy on the open-air food court and we settled down in a corner table. And then started the gossip session! And it was in the middle of the gossip session that we realized that Prady was recording it all on camera! I don’t need to write here all that we gossiped about – its all there in the video that Prady will post soon. Watch out for it – it is really hot stuff!!

Then the rest also joined. But before we could settle down again, Sujata and Sonika had to leave as they had to travel far. After they left we urged Subhashji to sing a little for us. He said he will sing once the mood is set, and to set the mood Shubhro sang first. I can’t write how good he was, so melodious that one of the guards there came and stood behind him and left only after he stopped singing, but not before saying that Shubhro has a golden voice! Then Subhashji also sang for us in his lovely voice, and the guard promptly came back! Prady has made a video of both – do watch it to hear our talented MSians.

The discussion then shifted to music. Subhashji, who is a treasure-trove of music shared some great tid-bits of old songs with us. Nagaraj ji (nagaraj_bhoopalan) had sent me a M2M giving his mobile number and we called him and had a nice chat with him too. As it was getting dark, we all had a last cup of coffee and reluctantly said goodbyes (and we became so engrossed in saying goodbyes that we forgot our rule of sharing the bill equally and Shahid ended up paying for all the coffees. Really sorry Shahid, as the organiser I should have remembered. Chalo next meet mein settle kar lenge.)

It was a very memorable meet. I wish we had more time to spend together. Maybe next time we will start the meet in the morning!
