'Dead' man returns home after 5 months in Noida.

Noida, July 12 -- In a story stranger than fiction, a 25-year-old was reunited with his family five months after being found unconscious -with a bullet lodged in his head -and paralysed. Mohan Singh -whose family thought he was dead -was found unconscious on January 28 this year at Bisrakh in Greater Noida.

The police admitted him to Kailash Hospital with the right side of his body paralysed. Then, on February 11, the police took him to Balaji Hospital at Kulesra. By now, he had suffered complete memory loss and could not speak. The police appealed to local residents to help identify him, but to no avail. The district administration then handed him over to an NGO.

"On Saturday, he began talking about his past. He identified himself as a resident of New Kot Gaon in Ghantaghar area of Ghaziabad," said city magistrate Sanjay Chauhan. On Sunday, Mohan was taken to his home, where his father, Natthu Singh and siblings recognised him and broke down on seeing him alive.

Even though his family had registered a missing complaint with the local police, the futile search for Mohan's whereabouts had left them perplexed and distressed. On Tuesday, the Singh family will go to the office of the Noida Magistrate and take formal custody of Mohan. Once he begins speaking with greater ease, police hope to be able to figure out how the bullet got lodged in his head and set in motion the series of bizarre incidents that fortunately had a happy end.

Just want to share this though this was an old Real Story.
