Chinese handset maker set to enter the Indian market with UMI X2

If the you consider Micromax to be cheap, wait till you have seen this one - The UMI X2. The chinese handset maker is set to release its handset for India and will compete with the likes of the Micromax and Karbonn. And going by the specifications alone it can even compete with the likes of Galaxy S3 and the Optimus G.


These are some of the features of the UMI X2




  1. The device comes with a 5 inch full HD IPS display having a pixel density of 441 ppi. It is a 1080 p screen opposed to micromax's 720 p display.




  2. Under the hood it has a 1.2 Ghz quad core processor with 2 GB of RAM with a PowerVRSGX544 GPU.




  3. It has 32 GB of internal memory with a micro SD and expansion slot of 32 GB




  4. It has a 13 Mp front shooter with dual led flash with a 3 MP front camera.




  5. It runs on Android 4.1 Jellybean out of the box which will be upgraded to android 4.2 by May 2013.




  6. It has a 2500 mah battery.
