A young man raises voice in the society for the atrocities against women but very few people support it.
Suraj and Adhira are students of Delhi college. suraj is the nephew of a powerful politician, in Delhi. Suraj is crook and an impaired boy, on the other side,Adhira is an intelligent, strong and brave girl from Lucknow, doing LLB in Delhi and want to be a good lawyer.
They both meet at the college campus when Suraj make a bad and obscene comment on Adhira. She gives tremendous answers to his bad and obscene comment. Now he chases her and teases her. She ignores him but Suraj keeps harassing and teasing her, despite her refusal.
Now he troubled her by phone and messages. She gets disturbed by his actions. Once he gives her offer to spend one night with him and he will pay for that instead. Listening to this, her brain gets spoiled and she slaps him in anger. Suraj also gets in anger and arrogance and molest her forcefully. She saves herself from that but he threatens her that now he will make her condition so bad that is done with such girls like that.
Finally she complains in police but the police do not do anything against suraj because of strong political background. Adhira says in anger with the police ‘’what are waiting for when he rape with me then police will take action’’
He bothers her again and again. When there is no way in front of her, so she goes fearless and boldly to him and teaches him a powerful lesson. She tells him how it feels to force someone badly. Suraj is forced to think when he listen to her truthful statement about atrocities against women. Adhira leaves Delhi and goes to her hometown.
Suddenly a very bad time comes in Suraj’s life which he never thought. Four men gangrape very badly with his sister. Suraj breaks completely from inside. His sister dies in the hospital. The ruckus and candle march all around. Culprits are sentenced to death after one year.
Suraj life changes completely .He remembers the day of Rakshabandhan when his sister wants to make a ‘’young women’s association’’ to protect and help women from atrocities. But her dreams remains incomplete.
Now Suraj completes his sister’s dream . A young man raises voice in the society for the atrocities against women. He is not only to establish women safety and association, he make a strong plan and program to change our thoughts and mind-sets regarding women respect. Suraj launches ‘’respect our women ‘’ program and campaign to interact and teach every person that Women are entitled to respect & affection and now his aim is to provide a real education in the society.
But this is not all that easy. Some political and wrong minded people try to erase and suppress this thing. There is a very struggling time for Suraj but he does not give up.
A few months later, awareness increases in people and spread rapidly on the media and internet. After seeing all this, Adhira comes back to Delhi and she supports Suraj and his team for this social work.
Now Suraj and Adhira together, and a large team, struggle and try to make changes in thinking through the ‘’respect our women ‘’ programme in all cities and villages in which some expert politician and professionals give full support. ‘’If every parent taught his or her son to respect women and treat them with dignity, a day would have come when they would not fear for the safety of their daughter’’. Finally, many people think change and atrocities against women diminish.
Meanwhile, Suraj and Adhira both fall in love with each other. Suraj expresses his love to her and she accepts his love with heart. The tears of love come in both eyes and they embrace each other.
