Replace Engine oil based on your driving style and after completion of certain number of KMs.

Clean the Air filter and if required replace it.

Change oil filter if required

Service guys would ask us to replace fuel filter(some comedy) but it is not really required

Do only free services in the authorised service centres(For that too they will charge good bill amount between 3500 to Rs.5000/- based on the vehicle.) You end up paying so much of Vat and other taxes if you look up the Invoice details.

After free services are over do paid services in a local mechanic place. Buy original Engine oils of good quality and see in front of you that the older engine oil is drained completely and the new oil is added to your new vehicle.(You cant see them in authorised service centres and there is no guarantee that the old engine oil was replaced), You can feel the difference once a new engine oil is put while driving.

Just clean the Air filter

Check for coolant level between min and max levels.

Every year add distilled water in the car battery. There would be 6 or 7 caps at the top of the battery, just remove them and add distilled water to ensure long battery life of 10 years or more.

Wash the car when required and clean the interiors and remove muds and dirts from floor mats.
