Why this contest : Many years back ..err actually few days back I was going thru an album & a certain pic made me comment. That pic also reminded me of this pencil sketch a artist friend of mine had made. Incidently both had something common in their caption!! So I thought of conducting a caption contest!!
The other reason is my hands are itching!! Now I have to give away something!! I checked I have MS points which I wont be able to carry in my coffin, so thought of spending it here itself on earth, on MS !! Since I dont have time to normally get into gifting on MS, I am using contest to giveaway.
What you have to do: is very simple. Look at the attached pencil sketch. The original caption given by my artist friend is "XXXX XXXXX XXX" ie the caption is 3 words, with 1st, 2nd , 3rd words having 4, 5, 3 letters respectively.
contest A) Can you make your guess of those 3 words - anyone who guesses exact will be the winner. if not anyone who get maximum closest either in words or in meaning !
Contest B)also try contributing your own captionnot excedding 6 words!
Prizes : There will be one prize each for the best entries in both contests - prizes will be worth more than 1000 MS points. I will make efforts to get a 3rd party judge to evaluate own captions entries, if not I will do it myself! ( dont worry, I am not particiating..which ensures I will not be the winner) ;-)
T&C : The contest is open till 30 June 2008. No restriction on number of entries.
Hint: By public demand I am giving a clue for contest A - the pic has relevance to MS .. may be in terms of a topic, pic or person .. think of MSians too!! !! ;-) .. giving letter clues will make it too easy!
More Hints: Since I find many groping in dark, here are more clues - the pic I refered to is in Paul's album & also think of profile pics which are similar to the pencil sketch ( like girl, loose hair) & also of the 3 words one has a reference to one MS id, one is a verb, one is a word used in questions beginning with 'W' !! ;-). I just noticed Paul has 360pics in his album - so dont flip thru all, in the thumbnail view looks for any pic similar to sketch ..a girl, loose hair etc ... quite recent, in the last 10 days I guess !!
