I was really surprised to read a featured post from Jasmine inviting us to write on India's historic victory against OZ. Honestly I feel we are giving paramount importance to Cricket and its more than a religion. No doubt it was an outstanding team effort & deserve a big clap from all of us.
The coverage by media on Dada's retirement is much more than what Vishy received when he was crowned the world Chess Champion a few days ago. I was surprised to see a TV channel showing a progrmme titled " First day spent by dada after retirement". Why did they not show first day spent by Bindra after winning Olympic Gold. Its simply because we want to read, eat & sleep only Cricket.
I am not calling for boycott of cricket but let's not forget the Bindras & Anands (which I am afraid is the story) who have brought laurels to our Country.
