Tata group has started this new chain of retail stores, CROMA. I have seen the stores at Delhi airport, Rajouri Garden and also at South Extension.
Good stuff, good products, good prices, good display, but bad staff and bad service.
Staff is indifferent, laid back, and disinterested. Service is full of apathy and bureaucratic.
They made me apply for a Tata Card, and took all the papers including a photograph etc.
The card never came! On inquiring, I was told that the card has been declined because Landline Phone Number was not filled up!
I haven't heard such a ridiculous reason or an explanation.
If thre Tatas are serious about their venture into retail, they better gear up and shape up.
Reliance, Marks& Spencer, Shoppers Stop etc. issue member cards immediately, woo you and serve you much better.
