Bianchi Quarzo Spillo

These bikes are being sold at various Track and Trail stores and perhaps other stores too across the country.

First of all, I don't think these bikes are worth the ridiculous amount of money at all. I've had this bike for little over a month and a half.

I am not at all satisfied with the quality that is dished out for the hard-earned money that we spend on it.

1) I have taken the bike on just one long ride (about 50kms) and the handle nuts start coming loose.

2) My rear derailleur plastic which has the "Shimano Acera" printed on it has already broken.

3) Since the Bianchi uses Presta valves which are highly inconvenient and delicate, I have had flats because the valve stick got bent while filling air.

4) My pedal screws fell off within a week of riding it. Trust me, the pedals (Feimin-F306) are of horrible quality for such an expensive bike.

I HAVE to carry a toolkit with me whenever I am on the bike coz I don't know which nut will come loose when. I have ridden many bikes since I started bicycling - Hero, atlas, BSA slr, Avon cycles,

Hercules. But I have NEVER had to carry a bloody toolkit for these bikes. Never have I had the nuts and bolts coming loose on any of these bicycles.

I think these so-called high-end bikes just aren't built for India.

If you think this is due my riding style, then I don't jump off ramps with this bike or anything of the sort. I ride this bike on paved roads and I brake and go slow on rough sections. Trust me, I take a lot of care while riding this bike and still have these problems.

As far as my experience is concerned, I would NOT recommend these bikes to anyone. They're a complete waste of money and these niggles can ruin a perfectly enjoyable ride.
