Recently, I came to know a shocking fact about the apples.
Those shining red apples in market are not what they actually appear ( sometimes, we find a small sticker suggesting country of origin as Singapore or USA. Don't know how far it is true ).
The shine is actually due to a thin layer of wax coating on the apple.
A fine scraping on the apple skin will reveal this coating.
And all this while I was consuming them without peeling the skin thinking that the skin has got maximum ammount of vitamines.
So next time you go for these apples, Be careful before you eat them.
