I am not too choosy in identifying a system... I just needed a 2.1 system to plug in to the DVD player, as I had the audio from my DVD connected to the Television. As whenever even it's just music to be playe, I would need the TV for the Audio out. Thinking of the power consumption, I had plans of choosing a simple 2.1 system(as the size of my room is small-not that big to be BIG). So I wanted something cheaper and with a good quality of sound. Had suggestions from friends as Creative, Sony, Philips and so many down the list. compared to the pricing the systems were about 2k+. So, finally dropped the idea of a system, as we planned to move to a spacious house and then plan accordingly.

After a few weeks, the thought of the system came back. so again started researching, then one of the system administrators had given a choice of Creative as it was a common system for a 2.1... And performance wise, price wise also it was convenient... But I wasn't for creative as the basic model had not been good, I had seen it in one of my friends house. I wasn't ready to cut on my budget constraints too. After a good amount of research, I went in onto F&D A111. this is a US based system with a wooden subwoofer, and pendrive and MMC card support, it could also be plugged in onto a DVD player. The most beautiful part was the Speakers... What a shape... it could be mounted with extensions.it had a rubber base, to place on or stick onto the wall/ table. I need not use the Television, if I had songs onto my pendrive... I need not use the DVD player too... It is a speaker system with all the facilities of an MP3 player. The effect was really good. better than the basic creative system... I think it is affordable for a small room. it has bass control as buttons, and for the memory card/pendrive, it has a play/pause button, a next button, a previous button... I would say the only disadvantage(if my expectations had to be more means...) is a remote for the speaker system, where I can handle the inputs directly... Cost wise also very very efficient - Rs. 1650/- in Coimbatore... If your looking for a speaker system to connect onto, with a basic pendrive option, or the mobile, or the computer system, or the DVD player------ I would definitely say "this is it"...
