Just wanted to create an awareness:
There is this SPAM mail rotating around inboxes regarding a tax refund, of possibly Rs.820.50. The from id is : <refund-tax@incometaxindia.gov>.
Out of the different layouts of the e-mail, one of them is below:
"Dear applicant, After the last annual calculation of your fiscal activity we have determined that you are eligible to receive a tax refund of 820.50 Rupees.
Bank account holders at the Bank of India, will receive the money within 12 hours after filling the form.

When you click on the Tax refund online form link above, you will be taken to a phishing website (which looks exactly the same as original website) where you be asked to enter your bank account details and passwords in order to get the refund. If you have an antivirus or spyware installed, the addressbar will be highlighted in red, meaning , it is a phishing website.
Please don't fall prey to this. This matter was published in the Times of India newspaper in 2nd week of Feb '2010 also.
