Ls
-It is used to list the items of folder.
-can be used with different options.
-Arguments can also be provided.
-For example
ls -l /home
In above example "ls" is the command, "l" is the option which helps "ls" command in improvising its output of just listing the items by providing some important details regarding the items such as permissions on the items listed and their owner and groups and finally the "/home" acts as the argument for the ls command i.e., ls command in this example lists the items of /home folder along with permissions on the items, owner and group details.
